OVERVIEW
WHERE ONLY ONE TEAM IS LEFT STANDING! The 19th annual Texas Shootout will take place Sept. 3-5, 2022 and will be played at Children's Health StarCenters throughout the DFW Metropolitan area. This early-season primer will pit over 100 top-level AA & A Travel/Select league teams against each other in a competitive tournament environment and promises to get you in game shape early and ready to enter your local league play! With registration open to any qualified team across the U.S. and Canada, join some of the best puck throwers around and battle over Labor Day weekend for the title of Last Team Standing!

NOTE: This is a stay to play tournament. A 3-Night Minimum Stay is required. A sufficient number of hotel properties have been secured/made available for visiting teams and/or event participants. All registered teams will receive notification via email, once hotel accommodations are available. All visiting teams are required to stay only at listed hotel properties at rates listed for each selected property in order to participate in the tournament. Again, A 3-night minimum stay is required. Teams are required to Check-In to their designated STAY2PLAY hotel property a minimum of 1-day prior to the start of the tournament. Teams are required to Check-Out of their designated STAY2PLAY hotel property on the final day of the tournament, regardless of standings/seedings for Finals. No other booking sites, discounts, point awards, special rates or programs, regardless of how obtained, will be accepted. STAY2PLAY hotel accommodations are carefully selected to ensure quality and best available rates.

*Tournament Divisions/Participating Teams are released on HockeyShift approx.10-14 days prior to the start of the tournament, if not sooner.

SCHEDULE STRUCTURE
4 GAME MINIMUM
Each team will play a minimum of four (4) games throughout the tournament event. See example schedule below:
• Saturday | 1 or More Games Possible [Morning / Afternoon / Evening]
• Sunday | 1 or More Games Possible [Morning / Afternoon / Evening]
• Monday | 1 or More Games Possible [Morning / Afternoon]
*Teams should expect to play starting early on Saturday.
*Semi-Final Rounds for all divisions are NOT Guaranteed.
*Championship or Consolation Games (if played) may result in a 2nd game for some teams on Monday.
*Final games are expected be complete by 5 o’clock PM (CT) on Monday for all teams. **PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY**
*Each division may play all games at one primary rink, a secondary rink or a combination of rinks.
*Additional rinks may be added or listed rinks removed/changed as needed.
*Game Schedules will be released on HockeyShift (our online Stats & Standings program) approximately 7-10 days prior to the start of the tournament, if not sooner.
PRICING
• 10U | TEAM ENTRY FEE: $1,895
• 12U - 18U | TEAM ENTRY FEE: $1,995
*$500 deposit due at the time of registration acceptance with the final amount due by the Registration Deadline.
*Acceptance into the tournament is automatic upon completion of registration, unless otherwise noted.
